2023年2月6日午前4時17分にトルコ南東部で発生したトルコ?シリア大地震は、マグニチュード7.8を記録し、大規模災害をもたらしました。お亡くなりになられた方々に心よりご冥福をお祈りしますとともに、そのご家族の方々に心からお見舞い申し上げます。また一刻も早い復興をお祈り申し上げます。

Sympathy and Encouragement Message on the Damage Caused by
the Earthquake in Turkey and Syria

　On February 6, 2023, at 4:17 AM, a major magnitude 7.8 earthquake occurred in southeastern Turkey, causing a massive disaster in Turkey and Syria.

　Saitama University expresses its deepest condolences to those who lost their lives and their families, and its heartfelt sympathy to those who were affected by the disaster. We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery of the affected areas.
