埼玉大学が主体となって実施する新型コロナワクチンの職域接種について(周知)
本学における新型コロナワクチンの職域接種(大学拠点接種)ついては、１回目接種を９月下旬として国に申請しているところですが、今般、文部科学省を通じて厚生労働省から、モデルナ社製ワクチンの供給に遅れが生じていることから、希望している接種日程で大学拠点接種を実施することは困難であるとの通知がありました。
このような状況に伴い、本学における大学拠点接種の日程は、現時点では１回目接種が１０月以降、２回目接種が１１月以降になる可能性が生じました。このため、本学構成員は、自治体等のワクチン接種の方をより早期に受けられる場合もあると想定されます。一方で、自治体等の接種日程が見込めないなど、希望してもなかなか接種できない方も多数おられると思います。
そこで、本学としては、そのような方を対象に、学内に接種の場を設けることは、本学構成員の安全?安心を守る上で重要であると考え、実施時期が遅くなったとしても大学拠点接種を実施したいと考えています。
ついては、改めて、接種希望調査を行いますので、ご協力くださるようお願いします。今回の調査は、①接種日時は現在のところ未定であり、自治体等の接種日程より遅くなることが想定されることを承知の上で、②本学における大学拠点接種を２回とも確実に受ける方を把握することにより、必要とするワクチンを確保することを目的として実施しますので、この趣旨に鑑み接種を希望する方は必ずご回答くださるようお願いします。
なお、職域接種は、1,000人以上が２回接種を受けることが要件となっていることから、仮に接種希望者が1,000人に満たない場合は、本学における職域接種は断念せざるを得ない旨、ご承知おきください。
もちろん、ワクチン接種は強制ではありません。しっかり情報収集を行ったうえで、接種を受ける方の同意がある場合に限り接種が行われることにご留意ください。

(Updated Notice) Occupational Vaccination of COVID-19 to be conducted by Saitama University
Saitama University has applied to the government for the first dose of the new coronary vaccine to be administered at the end of September. However, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) via Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, has informed us that due to delays in the supply of the Moderna vaccine, it is difficult to conduct the university-based vaccinations on the requested schedule.
Due to this situation, there is now a possibility that the schedule for university-based vaccinations at SU will be in October or later for the first vaccination and November or later for the second vaccination. Therefore, it is assumed that some members of the University may be able to receive vaccinations from the local municipality earlier than others. On the other hand, there are also many members who cannot receive the vaccine even if they wish to, due to the fact that the vaccination schedule of the local municipality cannot be predicted.
We believe that it is important for the safety and security of our university members to provide a place on campus for vaccinations for such people, and we would like to implement university-based vaccinations even if the implementation date is later than expected.
Therefore, we would like to ask for your cooperation in conducting another survey on your vaccination preferences. This survey is being conducted with the following objectives in mind: 1) The date and time of the vaccination is currently undecided, and we are aware that it is expected to be later than the vaccination schedule of the local municipality, and 2) By ascertaining the number of people who will receive both doses of the university-based vaccination at SU, we will be able to secure the necessary vaccines. In light of this purpose, we ask that all those who wish to be vaccinated respond to this questionnaire.
Please note, however, that the requirement for the inoculation at the workplace is that at least 1,000 persons receive two doses of vaccination, so if there are less than 1,000 persons who wish to be vaccinated, SU must give up the occupational vaccination.
Of course, vaccination is not compulsory. Please keep in mind that vaccinations are only given with the understanding and agreement of the person to be vaccinated.
