令和3年度埼玉大学秋季入学式の中止について【Cancellation of 2021 Saitama University Autumn Entrance Ceremony】

新入生並びにご家族の皆さま

　埼玉大学では、新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響により、新入生の大半を占める留学生の来日に時間を要する見込みであることから、9月24日(金)に開催を予定していた令和３年度秋季入学式を中止することといたしました。

　新入生並びにご家族の皆さまにおかれましてはこの日を心待ちにされていたことと思いますが、何卒ご理解くださいますようお願い申し上げます。

　なお、入学式の代替措置として、後日、新入生に対する学長からのメッセージ動画の配信を予定しておりますので、準備ができ次第、新入生へご連絡いたします。


To new graduate students and their families,

　Due to the impact of COVID-19 virus, most of the new students are expected to take time to come to Japan, so Saitama University decided to cancel the 2021 autumn entrance ceremony scheduled for Friday, September 24.
　Instead of the entrance ceremony, the university president will send a video message to the new students at a later date, and we will let you know as soon as they are ready.
