令和3年度埼玉大学入学式（学部?大学院）の中止について【Cancellation of Saitama University Entrance Ceremony】

埼玉大学では、新型コロナウイルス感染症の状況に鑑み、4月８日(木)に開催を予定していた令和３年度入学式を中止することを決定いたしました。

これまで、規模の縮小や来場制限など、可能な限りの感染拡大防止策を講じた上で挙行することを検討してきましたが、首都圏での感染拡大が収まらず収束時期も不透明であることから、新入生の健康と安全を考慮し、このような判断に至ったものです。

なお、入学式の代替措置として、後日、新入生に対する学長からのメッセージ動画の配信を予定しておりますので、準備ができ次第、新入生へご連絡いたします。


In response to the spread of the COVID-19, we decided to cancel the 2021 entrance ceremony scheduled for Thursday, April 8.
Until now, we have considered measures to prevent the spread of infection, such as reducing the scale of events and reducing the number of visitors. However, the spread of the infection in the Tokyo metropolitan area has not subsided at all, and the timing of convergence is uncertain, so the decision was made in consideration of the health and safety of new students.
Instead of the entrance ceremony, the university president will send a video message to the new students at a later date, and we will let you know as soon as it gets ready.
